STARKE, Fla. — This past weekend, Florida State Guard (FSG) Soldiers underwent training in search and rescue, critical care, and medical air transport in coordination with the University of Florida’s ShandsCair Critical and TraumaOne Transport Teams.
During the weekend, recent Initial Entry Training (IET) graduates integrated with the inaugural class, representing a strength of over 300 Soldiers. Coordinated training exercises with community partners, such as the UF ShandsCair Critical Care and TraumaOne Transport teams, continue to enhance interoperability and rapid emergency response capabilities to serve Floridians in times of need.
